IoT and OT Hacking
Smart devices and industrial control systems.
About this module
IoT (Internet of Things) devices — cameras, smart plugs, sensors — and OT (Operational Technology) systems that run factories, power grids and water plants are now online. They are powerful, but often shipped with weak defaults and rarely updated. This module shows how these devices work, where they are weak, how attackers break them, and how you defend them. We cover the eight topics that matter most, from IoT basics and attacks to industrial control systems (ICS/SCADA), defense, and AI.
What you will learn
- IoT fundamentals & architecture
- IoT threats & the attack surface
- The IoT hacking methodology
- IoT hacking tools & real attacks (Mirai)
- OT / ICS fundamentals (SCADA, PLC, HMI)
- OT threats & attacks
- Defense for IoT & OT
- AI in IoT & OT security
